Thank You Ya Rabb, for giving me Islam. Surely, without You, I would be lost.
Allah (SWT) is saying if you're running after the Dunya, the Dunya will run away from you. But if you are running after the Akhirah, the Dunya will run after you. When you forget Death, you're falling in love with the Dunya. Having a materialistic lifestyle, you are running after the Dunya, piling up more and more and staying farther away from the rememberance of Death. This world is the field of the Akhirah; whatever you plant here is what you are going to harvest in the Akhirah.
Your working is for Allah, your life is for Allah. Everything you have is not yours, but rather what Allah is blessing you with.
Today's technology is Fitnah so if you don't know how to use it for the sake of Allah, keep away from it. Our lives revolve around technology: laptops, cell phones, television. We're wasting time nonstop using these things, as it is slowly finishing us, eating our time and energy. Nowadays, we're finding the negative effects of all these technologies. Use it when necessary, if you misuse it, it will finish you slowly. Sit down and remember Allah, don't misuse these things which are bringing you farther and farther away from Allah. Instead of sitting on the computer at midnight, get up and pray or make Dhikr. Things will change when you make effort to change them.
Move yourself away from these distractions, make an earning to be able to survive and support your family and turn back to the peace and harmony of the beautiful world Allah has given us. Wake up and don't be fooled by this Dunya.

Thanks for the reminder, everyone needs a reminder so they can grow to become a better muslim.
Sure thing. I remind myself before anyone else. In essence, my blog is a reminder for me but I'm glad Alhamdulillah if others benefit from it as well.
